Jesus tapdancing Christ, when will this fucking issue just DIE already?! This shit has been going on for years and years. Now that things are finally looking up, these asshats return in their full retarded glory and try to shoot things down.
Said group consists of thirty asshats. Birds of the same feather flock together; 'tards of the same level of stupidity band together in unity. They are suing the Department of Education because they feel that this is a job for the parents, and parents alone. They think teachers will fuck it all up. Teachers, as in people who impart knowledge, wisdom, and life lessons to developing youngsters. They do that for a living. They're professionals. Don't you think they're due some credit? Sure, I know plenty of teachers who should themselves be sent back to school, and some who ought to be languishing in prison. But that's the minority. Teachers are credible sources. We just don't respect them here because the government doesn't take care of them, so the term elicits pity instead of awe and respect like it does in Japan or America. But I'm getting off topic.
Thing is, I would agree that sex education is the parents' job first and foremost. Hell, it's their responsibility. But any idiot with half a brain who takes a cursory glance at the evening news or the papers will tell you that an insane percentage of these parents are (I'm not just using colorful language here, this is for real) morons. These parents are the people you see on the street; you know what I mean. Some of them are street vendors, some are fish and meat mongers in the marketplace, others work as street sweepers. Some work as prostitutes. Hell, others just...hang around. They hang around all day, playing basketball or chess, topless and showing their bulging guts to the passing cars and the world at large. These people have barely finished (some, not at all) the basic level of education. Many have logical development and reading comprehension on the same level as that of a first grader in a first world country. They're MORONS.
Okay, still think I'm being an ass? These very people are also those who blindly listen to the Catholic church and lap up any dogma it spews, most notably its strict stance on artificial contraception. So they fuck. Bareback. Population explodes. The government can't handle shit (mostly because the officials are too busy gang-raping the coffers). The nation sinks further in debt and drops farther behind the race. The other South East Asian neighbors overtake us. We become the laughingstock of the region - hell, the WORLD. (Yet we throw shitfits and go into convulsions the moment someone on Hollywood makes a passing comment referencing the shitty state of the Philippines. Defensive much?)
And so, we come full circle. The parents are MORONS. The teachers are better-equipped to teach the kids about sex. Because if they don't teach them, the parents will teach them wrong shit (I doubt most of them even know anything past the basics), or worse, their friends teach them. They get hands-on lessons, if you know what I mean. Then BAM. Teenage pregnancy. Hell, I'm willing to believe that the parents themselves are devoid of the requisite morality one needs before even possessing the right to tell this shit to kids. How, then can they "teach their children the moral implications of sex education" if they can hardly grasp the concept? Oh, btw, before you flame me for being self-contradicting, the key word I used on these morons is "blindly". Just because they're beholden to the Vatican does not mean they're saints themselves. Far from it. They may attend Mass and collectively rim the Pope's asshole, but that is definitely no guarantee on actually applying biblical commands, such as loving your neighbor or generally avoiding being dicks. It's side issues like contraception that registers in their peanut-sized brains. And that, my friends, actually goes against said commandment prohibiting general assholishness.
These plebian cocksuckers parrot and parrot, never actually listening to the opposite side, who states that the Reproductive Health bill does not, in any fucking way, endorse abortion. There are no provisions for abortion. Fuck, abortions actually increase without the Reproductive Health bill. But they never listen. That is because such matters are much too complex for their limited IQs. All they know is that their parish priest says it's bad, ergo it's baaaaad. Nevermind intelligent discourse! It's BAAAAAD!!
You can never reason an idiot out of a view that he was never reasoned into in the first place. These mouthbreathing invertebrates don't know the first thing about this issue, the hows and whys. All they know is that it's BAAAD. Because Father LOLI'MTOUCHINGYOURKID said it's BAAAAAAAD!!!
And don't even get me started on those bishops. The CBCP is always commenting on the political scene, day after day, issue after issue. It's as if they've got nothing better to do. CLEANSE YOUR RANKS YOU FUCKERS. YOU'RE MESSING AROUND WITH POLITICAL ISSUES WHILE YOUR PRIESTS ARE OUT THERE FONDLING KIDS AND IMPREGNATING TEENAGERS. They're being paid to look after the moral condition of the people, not meddling in the government's affairs or dictating shit to the people. Sex education and contraceptives, they've got nothing to do with morality. Using contraceptives IS NOT EQUIVALENT TO MURDER. This is something the Catholic church has a very hard time grasping. Kinda like how Chris-chan is forever oblivious to the fact that he won't get anywhere in life until he takes responsibility and stops being an asshole that should have been aborted.
Okay, let's have a recap here: Priests say contraception bad. People fuck. People pop out babies. Population explodes. Poverty ensues. Government decides to educate people to wrap it up before fucking, to prevent unwanted pregnancies. Catholics throw shitfit. They say it's murder. Meanwhile, abortions rise. Babies fill up sewage systems. Murder occurs anyway. Better that, than prevention of said pregnancies, right? ...right?
They will oppose anything to do with sexual education and progress in general. These Catholics are the ones who are (or at least consider themselves) more relaxed that Protestants in dogmatic issues (read: THE FUNDAMENTALISTS ZOMG). So why the fuck do we have these little issues here? I've been ranting and ranting for years now, and I might be doing so until the day I die. Or the Catholic church collapses, whichever comes first. Either way, we have to do something. At the very least, hope for enlightenment to replace blind faith and ignorance. It's a wonder this nation still stands. I'm waiting for China to give a damn about these tiny islands, swoop down, and make us its bitch. Maybe things won't be so stupid then.
